My pen name is Beeda Louise Spies. IRL I'm Shari Young. I originally created this nom de plume because I wanted to share secrets, personal experiences that I thought would help others, but I didn't want to own up to those situations. After I got a few stories published, I found out that it wasn't good form to hide behind a pseudonym, but I have already worked very hard at getting published and didn't want to start over again with my real name, so I'm just going to keep it, but come clean. Besides, if you Google Beeda Speis, you'll find me. If you Google Shari Young, you'll find oh so many of us.
I love to share about myself (in a my-walk-in-faith way, not in a narcissistic way), so you are going to get to know the real me, not a fake persona.
Beeda is my grandmother's middle name (spelled Beda).
Louise is my mother's middle name.
Speis is my great-grandmother's maiden name.
